John brings his desire to inspire to the stage and the classroom. He has worked professionally at theaters in the Midwest and in the South, and his plays and poetry have been produced and performed in places as far away as London, England. In addition to a decade of experience working in professional kitchens, John also has nearly a decade of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Chuck Johnson uses art to teach and inspire his audiences. His decades of experience as a musician and teacher help blur the lines between education and performance...both in Caravan programs and in his own classes. John is the Caravan’s seasoned Chef. He has served as Executive Chef of several restaurants and cooked in many fine restaurants over the past three decades. John’s cooking features local ingredients and seasonal dishes, and he works with other organizations to promote sustainable eating.
Mark creates visual and edible art with the Caravan. He combines his skills as an artist with his lifelong occupation as a chef to create The Caravan’s promotional materials and activity pages. Mark is currently studying Sculpture at The Ohio State University.
